Central Stadium Yekaterinburg (Sinara Group)

Platform:
Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium of federal level in Yekaterinburg, Russia, which was approved for carrying out matches of a group series of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Challenge:
To develop a general idea, combining the spaces of the Central Stadium, to create easy-to-navigation system, designed for mass events. The new design had to be in harmony with the historically significant elements of the building — facades and interior decoration.

Idea/Solution:
The urge for perfection means achieving new heights and moving for the better. Achievements and aspirations are nothing but pure energy, which was used as the basis for new interior design.The development of the energy is expressed in polygonal graphics, and directed toward the center of the stadium. The main visual images are football players and athletes. The energy concentrates as it approaches the tribune, being transformed from black and white wireframe graphics to pure color.
