“NIKOLAEV CHEESE FACTORIES":
CHEESE WITH CAUCASIAN CHARACTER

Client:
“Agrocomplex” named after N.I. Tkachev, brand ”Nikolaev Cheese Factory”

Task:
To develop packaging design for a line of Caucasian cheeses.

Solution:
The client turned to Brandiziac agency with a task - to develop packaging for a series of Caucasian cheeses and to distinguish the line against the background of other products of the Nikolaev Cheese Factory brand. The main requirement was to fill the design with Caucasian character and color.
The design team was inspired by the traditions and culture of the Caucasus. This is how the original pattern was created - a hand-drawn ornament. Slight carelessness and disproportionate elements bring the pattern closer to folk motifs, and the round shape is associated with a plate made by a master potter.
The packaging design uses the brand's classic emerald color and the logo of the cheese factory. Each variety - cheddar, suluguni, brynza, Abkhazian and farmer - has its own color and shape of pattern, while the font of the name does not contradict the logo and is kept in ethno-stylistics.

The opaque packaging has a special “window” so that the buyer can assess the quality and freshness of the product
