Sweetie
Product concept and packaging design of cosmetics for young skin for every day.
Objective
To develop a line of care cosmetics for Generation Z in the mass-market category

Idea | Solution:
Brandiziac's design team decided to develop a cosmetics concept for Generation Z - girls under 25. Nowadays, zumers make up more than a third of the world's population and, despite the fact that most of them are still in school, they are actively changing the world. That's why we've looked into their lifestyle, habits and consumer preferences.
Generation Z pay attention to the eco-friendliness of products and prefer conscious consumption. Zoomers are more likely to choose products in biodegradable packaging or products that can be reused. They tend to buy and keep only what they really need and sell cosmetics that don't work.

Zoomers have been heavily influenced by the shift to online communication. They communicate a lot by correspondence or howls, and long sentences are preferred to short phrases and abbreviations. But contrary to the common stereotype, they are not too dependent on technology - they lead an active lifestyle and do not exclude the joys of live communication.

This is how the concept of caring cosmetics for every day Sweetie - translated from English as “sweetie” or “candy” - was born. The name itself defines the target audience, and with the help of industrial design the second meaning is played up - a compact jar in the form of multicolored lollipops with the possibility of repeated use.
The names of each product are popular abbreviations and acronyms, often used to simplify correspondence. So ASAP (as soon as possible) is an instant face cream, HAND (have a nice day) is a moisturizing hand cream and XOXO (symbolic for hugs and kisses) is a smoothing lip scrub.

Bright and original design excites “appetite” and the desire to pick up a whole handful of candy jars. Compact Sweetie do not require a lot of space, it is convenient to take them on a trip or at a sleepover party. The small size makes it easy to try a new product and buy several products at once without breaking the budget.

Sweetie cosmetics is a metaphor for the dynamic life of zoomers, when everything changes quickly and most issues are solved on the go. Laconic design allows to develop the concept into a large number of products, depending on fashion and consumer preferences.
