The award ceremony for the winners of the new design festival 'Sreda' was held on Sunday, November 10th.
The wayfinding and environmental design project for the Yekaterinburg Arena stadium won a bronze award. In the nomination 'Design and decoration of public spaces' it was the only project, which was recognised by the panel of judges. The first and second places remained vacant.
This year, the competition received 283 applications were. Out of the 102 shortlisted entries, only 40 had a positive response from the judges. Experts could not award all the prizes in 10 nominations, and 3 nominations were left with no awards at all.
You will recall that the festival of new design 'Sreda' looks at projects, which improve the visual environment. This year it was held for the third time, supported by the AKAR and ABKR industry associations.
