We completed work on a brand for Zelenodolsk Dairy Processing Plant, a producer of dairy products from Tatarstan. It was important for the client that the name and identity of the new line of hard cheeses had a national flavor.
We created a character - a mischievous boy in a skullcap and embroidered shirt named Syrmalai. In the name we combined the name of the product itself - “cheese”, and the Tatar word “malai” - “boy, teenager”.
When developing the logo we used an element of national ornament - a stylized tulip. Each variety of cheese corresponds to one of the three national colors of the republic: “Khansky” - red, “Batyrsky” - green, “Kazansky” - yellow.
